For awhile now, we’ve been hearing rumors of anti-trust actions against the four main Big Tech companies.
Recently, the word is that actual charges will be brought starting in June of this year.
When you put all the recent stories together – along with some other interesting events involving Big Tech – it DOES look like something is finally about to happen.
But will any of it actually change anything?
It’s easy to be cynical, but I do see an opportunity here to make a difference…

This week, Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg confused everyone (and especially himself) with a speech at Georgetown.
You see, now Facebook is all about free speech. He says we need to let politicians lie on Facebook without censoring or controlling their speech in any way.
Unless you’ve been dead recently, you’re no doubt aware that Big Tech essentially declared itself the Arbiter of Truth & Justice in a stunning effort to put Orwell’s 1984 to shame.
Unfortunately, this led to a few problems – including legal ones…

Ah, yes. Facebook and images!
You know the drill: You share a link, and you expect that an image from the page you shared will show up.
But, it doesn’t.
This is especially true if you’re sharing a link from a lesser-known site, like perhaps your own blog or online store.
Fortunately, there are a few tricks you can use to make Facebook – and other social networking sites – happy.
