If you’re a Twitter user [ducks under the table], you’ve no doubt been seriously annoyed by those constantly auto-playing video posts.
What’s even crazier than the fact that the vids autoplay is that if you refresh the current page on Twitter, the same vids autoplay again, and again, and again.

Let’s say you have a folder with a ton of files, but they all have super-long file names.
For example, a folder with a bunch of video files like this:

Wow, that is a CRAZY-long filename. What’s worse, it has Chinese and other weird characters in it. Those might screw up your streaming media player, for example.
Well, okay: How to bulk rename a bunch of files at once?

Let’s say you’re writing a web app, and of course you’re using JavaScript. So far, so good!
But then let’s say you need to load some images on the fly, and then do something useful AFTER each image is fully loaded.
IOW, maybe you want to adjust the layout of the image modal that pops up, or you want to do something crazy with a caption, or whatever…
Naturally, you’d use JavaScript to do this – including changing CSS on the fly.
So the question is: How do you use JavaScript to detect when an image is fully rendered on the page – not just loaded?

The Windows 11 22H2 feature release is out in the wild. Unfortunately, there are a few problems with it…
On my modern laptop, I upgraded to 22H2 and everything seemed to be going well…
Until I did a hard reboot a few hours after the upgrade was complete.
I got a Blue Screen before Windows even loaded with the message that my PC/Device needs to be repaired: The Boot Configuration Data file doesn’t contain valid information for an operating system.
Well, golly gee whiz Mr. Johnson, that’s just swell!! What to do now??
