It makes for great headlines, especially for AI-centered companies that are having a really hard time actually making a profit.
So, ARE we all gonna die? I dunno – maybe!
But there’s a much better question we should be asking: WHY does AI go bad and do evil things?
The answer is high-tech, but the problem itself is not…

In fact, the insanity at work these days in the AI and data center industries is so overwhelming, you could be forgiven for thinking it’s just the script from a bad Sci-Fi movie…
But no, it’s real. And it’s NUTS.
The biggest tech news this year has most definitely been AI, right?
You can’t escape it. It’s everywhere.
What’s more, every day brings yet another announcement of a “bold new investment” of billions of dollars in even MORE AI!
So, it must be true, yes?
Well, not so fast. In fact, the biggest event in tech this year did not come from AI at all. It didn’t even come from the Western world!
The most radical technology event this year was the beginnings of a massive shift in the core of high-tech from West… to East.
In some ways, AI is useful.
But in most ways, it’s really bad.
This simple fact is made worse by the glut of over-valued AI companies.
So what does the future look like?
It seems we’ll find out – after the bubble bursts!
Every time some new tech comes along, there’s always “that guy”… You know, the one who warns you that it’s gonna make children dumb, we should all run for the hills, and so on.
So, when it comes to AI, I really don’t want to sound like that guy.
BUT… Lately I’ve seen a lot of people using current AI in a dangerous way
And I’m not the only noticing big problems…
The truth is, AI can be pretty useful – but you have to know how to use it, and more importantly how NOT to use it.
