   How to run a Windows virtual machine in the cloud, and safely, including backups? At the moment I use RDP over Hamachi to my Windows-VM, but could envision moving the VM to the cloud, having only Chromebooks locally.

   How to setup and maintain a web site for a small business with minimal effort and learning, including certifcate for https?

   Tell me more about:

   1. Rare earth magnets. Why are they rare, how are they made, how to glue them to things that are metal.

   2. I hate video formats because I don’t understand them. Which one to choose when downloading: MP4, MKV, or AVI? Then there are the other things to figure out: 1280×720 | 994 kb/s with AAC | 157 kb/s? No, choose me: 1920×1080 | 1904 kb/s with AAC | 157 kb/s. But wait, there’s more to confuse: this 1080 is 4GB, but the other is only 1.2GB and there’s one at 775MB. All the same quality? Yet the 720 is on 400MB. Will I see a difference when they’re played?

   3. I can backup everything on Firefox with MozBackup. But Opera doesn’t have anything like that. So how do I save the whole deal — extensions, passwords, bookmarks, favorites — in Opera.

   4. I connect my SSD drives to my ASUS router, but my media player that’s connected to my TV doesn’t see them. They’re all on the same network. So what’s the deal with my router’s Media Server and should I Enable UPnP?

   Tips on how to stay wired and avoid as much EMFs as possible. Also, I currently use a hotspot on my phone; is there a way for someone in my situation to hardwire? I would live to ditch the cell phone and have different Voip phones, but do you know of an online texting program that could work? Is there anything low EMF and private these days? Thanks!

   How to stop W10 resetting default apps, in my case particularly not allowing VLC as my default movie player.

   I’ve tried all the usual ways of setting VLC as default, but W10 just reverts to its own app within a few minutes. Despite said app being unable to play many of my video files.

   (Even more bizarrely, this only happens on one of my machines.)
